Ro2 Art is pleased to present Shared Time, Then and Now, a group exhibition in tribute to artist Linda Dee Guy featuring new works by nine of her former students: Christopher Blay, Chris Bramel, Simeen Farhat, Etty Horowitz, DJ Perera, Alvaro Perez, Nathan Porterfield, Jason Reynaga, and Winter Rusiloski. The show will run from March 31 through April 28, 2018. There will be an opening reception held Saturday, March 31, from 7-10PM at Ro2 Art located at 1501 S. Ervay Street in Dallas’ Cedars neighborhood.
During her thirty-six years as a Professor of Art at Texas Christian University, Linda Dee Guy influenced the creative development of countless students, helping to grow their careers as artists. This exhibition of new works by former students, who are now professional artists, reflects the time shared between mentor and pupil; it is a symbol of shared time, then and now. |
