Ro2 Art is thrilled to welcome the return of Chris Bramel and DJ Perera for an exciting two-person exhibition.  For Night & Day, the two young artsts present work created in the years since graduating from Texas Christian University.  During their final semesters of practice at TCU, both artists showed portions of their senior exhibitions at Ro2 Art in Dallas. 

Since graduating, the two artists have taken divergent paths – DJ Perera enrolled and graduated with an MFA in Painting with summa cum laude honours from Pratt Institute in New York, and completed a series of black on black paintings, showcasing a procedural aesthetic that challenges the traditions of representational painting; Chris Bramel embarked on and completed a 24,000 mile trek across the United States and Canada, in an effort to find new perspectives as an artist – arriving home with thousands of images that would be intertwined and formatted into stunning panoramic photographs.
