“The title Mesophase, is suggestive of my attempts to capture a material in a precarious state of transition. I utilize molten glass in non traditional means, directing it to engage in extreme, and sometimes violent interactions with outside forces and materials. I direct my actions through restricted and/or prohibited processes, finding comfort in the tension enriched result.”
