The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC) is proud to present a new artistic affiliation program Ro2 Art, owned by Susan Roth Romans and Jordan Roth. As part of the MAC's newest community outreach program, the MAC has teamed up with Ro2 to extend its contemporary artistic vision and educational support to downtown Dallas. This newpartnership will promote and support contemporary talent with monthly exhibitions throughout the year. Donations from Ro2 Art will benefit artistic programming at the MAC.

This exciting new collaboration will begin with an opening reception and group exhibition entitled The End of Commerce on October 22 at , 2010 at 6 PM.  The MAC will present the works of Dallas video artist Robert Flowers.

Through the MAC's innovative efforts and artistic advisement, Ro2 guests and visitors will have the opportunity to view and interact with contemporary art that is experimental.   This initiative is congruent with the MAC mission of supporting experimentation and promoting a visual dialogue between the artist and the viewer.   Ro2 will exhibit a variety of local artists and media, enhancing the setting and experience for visitors as they are being exposed to the most current art movements incubated in Dallas.

About the MAC
Established in 1994, The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC) is a nonprofit organization that stands as a Dallas advocate for creative freedom offering the opportunity for experimentation and presentation of art in all disciplines. It supports the emerging and established artist roll in society providing a forum for critical dialogue with their audiences. This relationship is cultivated through education and innovative programming. The MAC is a member of Dallas Art Dealers Association and The Uptown Association.

Mother-and-son partners Susan Roth Romans and Jordan Roth operate Ro2 Art, a full-service consultancy with a portfolio of arts management services, including artist representation, sales, marketing, consultation, curatorial, and events management; working with a diverse group of contemporary artists, most with ties to the North Texas Region.  At present, Ro2 focuses on the exhibition and sale of work in all visual media, through a series of shows at various locations in the Downtown and Park Cities areas of Dallas.
