Erica Felicella

The second the shutter closed on Erica’s first shot, she was hooked. After growing up in New England, Erica moved to Dallas and her career in photography and fine art soon began. On Erica’s current project roster, you‘ll find ethnographic photo excursions, traditional portrait series, abstract paintings, photomontages, block printing and of course, conceptual photography. Each project is a visual reference to social and political human interaction with self, others and environment. There is an untold narrative behind the eyes of each of Erica’s subjects, whether those subjects are people, communities or concepts, and that story comes to life the instant she captures the image. Erica currently lives and works in Dallas where her commitment to art bleeds into her community. If she’s not on a shoot, she’s lending her skills to a nonprofit, or mentoring young artists. Throughout her career readers of GQ, People Magazine, and Texas Music Magazine have admired her photography projects and artistry.
