I grew up in small town in Dallas County, Cedar Hill, TX. My work consist of two dimensional and three dimensional work. Mainly working in oil, acrylic, oil pastel and crayons on canvas and paper. Also, wood and clay for three dimensional work. In my work I like to work with a lot of vibrant bright colors. Doing many of my paintings fast to always suggest movement. My subject matter is typical based of my experience of growing up in Cedar Hill and Dallas. Many inspirations of my work is the black experience in the South or the Bible Belt. I like to imaginal take things from my neighborhood, from the style of dress, hair styles, music, and slang and put them into art. To summarize my work, it’s just a bunch of country stuff.
