Alyssa Chi
Alyssa Chi was born and raised in North Texas where she continues to live and work. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Art with a concentration in Painting and Drawing in 2013 from the University of North Texas. Shortly after graduating Alyssa took a position as the Development Manager at the non-profit arts organization, The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC), in order to immerse herself more fully in the arts. Through this experience she was exposed to many incredible artists and exhibitions that influenced her views on the importance of galleries representing regional artists and marginalized groups. Striving to find her way back into the arts community after a hiatus, Alyssa is bringing to light the isolated studio practice she developed over the last four years.
