Abby Settlemier is a transplant to the DFW area, having moved often as a child, and now splits her time between Texas and Ireland for university. As a student of Art History her work is reflective of multiple historic styles as she finds herself immersed in art on a daily basis. Most prevalently her work is an ode to vintage illustration, with whimsical elements taken from the likes of Arthur Rackham and early 20th century advertising. She works primarily in ink and collage elements, with an eye for overall composition.
