Artist Statement
I've studied in New York, LA, and Phoenix, and my influences come from all corners of the United States, having met some of the greatest pop artists, watercolorists, realists, and sculptors of our time. As my tools, I use a respect for color and a refined ability to draw to create works in styles ranging from photorealism to pop and abstract. My father worked for Disney, so you'll see that influence, as well.
There's a lot of planning that goes into each piece. I don't just “throw paint.” If you look at my work, you can see the detail in everything I do. There's a method to the madness, a calculated plan to arrange expression and soul into all forms that end up on my canvas. I don't believe in accidental meetings, especially in art.
